Our commercial soft landscape team was delighted to be involved in the installation of the soft landscape elements of the new parish centre opened recently in Malahide, County Dublin.
The new Parish Centre provides a number of new meeting spaces for a variety of secular parish activities. These have been arranged around a bright central courtyard with overhanging planting. The centre includes a cafe at its heart, which brings life to the building throughout the day.In addition, the existing church facilities were to be maintained and improved. The new church facilities include a sacristy, prayer chapel, priest’s residence and basement level carpark. The surrounds of the new centre are delicately landscaped with a variety of semi mature trees, hrubs and hedging which accent the stunning new facility.
The fact that the new centre sits in the heart of Malahide – the long term base of O’Briens- makes involvement in the project all the more meaningful.
