The team at O’Brien Landscaping was delighted to have several of their construction projects feature so highly in this year’s Irish Landscape Institute Awards. Now in its 12th year, the Irish Landscape Institute (ILI) Design Awards give recognition to exemplary landscape projects by Irish Landscape Institute (ILI) members in the Republic and Landscape Institute members from Northern Ireland (LINI) across a range of categories.
Bernard Seymour Landscape Architects dominated this year’s awards taking home top-category awards with their schemes at ESB Headquarters, Study Street, and Ropemaker Place. They were also highly commended for their schemes at The Sorting Office and One Wilton. The O’Briens team realised them all. “It’s great working with BSLA,” commented company director, Peter O’Toole. “They’re amazing designers and we take great pride in bringing their vision to life.”
Another scheme realised by O’Briens, and which also secured a deserved top category award, was The Sanctuary in Stoneybatter, designed by Roisin Byrne. Finally, The East Quad Arts Building designed by Stephen Diamond Associates was also highly commended.
“We’d like to express our sincere congratulations to all award recipients. Quality standards continue to rise across the sector and we pride ourselves on exceeding expectations: both for our clients and the design teams we’re privileged to work alongside,” said Peter.
