The O’Brien’s team recently completed extensive drainage work at the 1st and 18th holes, Silloge Golf Club, North County Dublin. The club is an 18-hole championship public golf course that first opened for business in 1984.
“We were asked by the club to review existing drainage and develop a design and installation proposal which would facilitate play,” explained Ciaran O’Brien. “Play had been restricted on the holes and the extremely wet early spring weather had presented to the club with real challenges.” The new drainage system which was installed with the aid of a Shelton Super Trencher has already had a positive impact. “I’m delighted with the results and with the season kicking off, they couldn’t have come a moment too soon.” commented, Ciaran.
